Rapid Mobile is a leading business-to-business supplier specialising in the development of HF and V/UHF digital radio communication technology. With a rich history dating back to our establishment in 2001, we have built a strong presence in the defence and related markets. Over the years, we’ve earned the trust of various international clients, including some of the world’s foremost communication system integrators, radio makers and resellers. Our partners, in turn, serve navies, militaries and governments, as well as industrial, civil and commercial users around the world.

We manufacture an extensive range of standards-based and proprietary products, including data modems, embedded modules, tactical terminals, digital voice encryption solutions and application software, organised into four divisions. Designed to excel in the harshest environments on earth, our products deliver unsurpassed data speed, voice clarity and reach while conforming to international industry standards for widespread interoperability. Quality and longevity are central to our approach, with our products built for multi-decade lifespans, availability and continuous support to keep up with the expectations of our clients.

Core Technologies

We specialise in HF and V/UHF digital radio communication technology, offering a comprehensive range of solutions. This includes modems, automatic link establishment and automatic repeat request controllers compatible with 2G, 3G, and 4G systems, as well as split site systems. Our products adhere to rigorous military standards such as MIL-STD-188-110D, MIL-STD-188-141D, STANAG 4538, and STANAG 5066 – both NB and WB ARQ. We also develop narrowband and wideband IP-focused packet waveforms tailored for 3G and 4G environments, along with TDMA narrowband and wideband waveforms optimised for machine-to-machine communications. Additionally, we provide blue force tracking software to enhance situational awareness and operational efficiency. All our offerings undergo rigorous conformance testing to ensure they meet industry standards.
