What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The information stored therein may be returned to our servers or the servers of the relevant third parties during a subsequent visit.
Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies. A persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date unless deleted by the user before the expiry date. A session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.
Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.
Cookies placed by us are mostly necessary for the website to function the right way, and they do not collect any of your personally identifiable data. Cookies placed by third parties are mostly used for statistical purposes.
What are Scripts?
A script is a piece of program code that is used to make our website function properly and interactively. This code is executed on our server or your device.
Technical or functional cookies
Some cookies ensure that certain parts of the website work properly and that your user preferences remain known. By placing functional cookies, we make it easier for you to visit our website. We may place these cookies without your consent. These cookies do not contain any personal information.
We use statistics cookies to optimise the website experience for our users. With these statistics cookies, we get insights into the usage of our website. We ask your permission to place statistics cookies.
Marketing or tracking cookies are cookies or any other form of local storage, used to create user profiles to display advertising or to track the user on this website or across several websites for similar marketing purposes.
Enabling, Disabling or Deleting Cookies
You can use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies. You can also specify that certain cookies may not be placed. Another option is to change the settings of your internet browser so that you receive a message each time a cookie is placed.
Disabling cookies completely will lock a user out of many of the most widely-used sites on the Internet like Youtube, Gmail, Yahoo Mail and others.
Please note that our website may not work properly if all cookies are disabled. If you do delete the cookies in your browser, they will be placed again after your consent when you visit our websites again.
We use both session and persistent cookies on our website.
