Conflict-Free Minerals Policy Statement

Rapid Mobile (RapidM) is a global supplier of premium modem technology, embedded modules and ancillary products in the field of long-distance HF and V/UHF radio data communications. Our client base includes world's leading radio manufacturers and system integrators.

RapidM adheres to local South African legislation, i.e. statutory- and regulatory requirements, and is ISO 9001: 2015 certified. Additionally, it is RapidM's policy to comply with the EU'sRegulation 2017/821 and the USA's Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act by following the Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas laid out by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

RapidM is, therefore, committed to report on the supply chain of the conflict minerals tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG). All relevant suppliers of products and/or services that contain 3TG minerals are required to provide RapidM with a Responsible Minerals Initiative Conflict Mineral Reporting Template (CMRT). Should a supplier be unable/unwilling to comply with RapidM's request, RapidM will make use of alternative suppliers where available.
