The RA3 Secure Voice & Data Modem is a purpose-built secure voice and data modem designed to deliver clear, secure digital voice and automated position transfers to first responders, security agencies, and governmental and paramilitary users in the most challenging channel conditions. Designed for vehicle installation, the RA3 seamlessly integrates with any HF or V/UHF radio via the audio channel, ensuring reliable communication when on the move.

For comprehensive tracking and operational control, the RA3 works with TrackPoint Position Tracking & Messaging Software via Ethernet to enable control room operators to visualise fielded unit positions graphically. Chat and file transfer services further support operational coordination, with configurable options enabling secure, periodic position reports to other fielded units and the TrackPoint software.

The RA3 ensures that all over-the-air communications are encrypted with built-in AES encryption. For added security, a zeroise function allows users to easily erase all user information and cryptographic keys by pressing two designated keys simultaneously. Equipped with a built-in STANAG 4538 modem, the RA3 offers automatic link setup, 3G ALE, and error-free packet data transfers via the Ethernet port. Additionally, a single call button facilitates point-to-point private calls, typically to the commander, leveraging RapidM's advanced Vocoder-modem combination to enhance voice quality and extend communication range in adverse conditions.

Cryptographic key configuration is simplified with the KeyGen-256 Software, while the RA3 system and network configurations are managed through the System Configuration Software (SCS), which includes network configuration, call button addressing and call signs.

The RA3 setup is complete with essential accessories, including radio cables, vehicle shock mounts, and Ethernet cables.
