RV2 Radio Voice Bridge

RV2 Radio Voice Bridge

The RV2 Radio Voice Bridge is a specialised device designed to interface with two different radios simultaneously, providing operators with a handset/headset interface for monitoring received audio from both radios. Powered by any one of the connected radios, operators can easily select which radio to communicate through while still monitoring activity on the other radio via LED indicators.

  • Dual Radio Interface: Connect and monitor two radios simultaneously.
  • LED Indicators: Easily track received and transmitted audio activity on both radios.
  • Selector Switch: Choose between multiple modes for flexible operation.
  • Volume Control: Adjust the handset/headset and built-in speaker volume to preference.

In addition to monitoring individual radios, operators can also cross-connect audio between the two radios, creating a bridge between separate radio networks. This setup enables seamless monitoring and communication on both networks. Voice activity is continuously detected on all connected radios, automatically adjusting and normalising radio levels with automatic gain control. Additionally, the RV2 is equipped with built-in waterproof speakers, allowing operators to be alerted to incoming calls or radio activity. This feature provides a convenient way to monitor multiple radios from a distance.
