TrackPoint is a cutting-edge position tracking and messaging application designed to streamline the management of mobile units and operational groups for fleet controllers and control room operators. This powerful tool displays the exact positions of RA devices and other symbols on a comprehensive built-in offline base map, combined with easy-to-use chat messaging for seamless individual or group communication. With TrackPoint, operators can effortlessly track team members, monitor breadcrumb trails, and view the real-time speed and bearing of all mobile units.

TrackPoint enhances situational awareness by enabling operators to create and send reference point symbols to all users in the network and receive neutral symbols from mobile RA devices in the field. Any symbol on the map can be tracked, with the distance and bearing to the tracked symbol provided for precise navigation and coordination. Operators' own speed and bearing are also displayed intuitively on the map.

To further support operational control, TrackPoint includes a rich set of geofencing tools, allowing operators to define forbidden and safe zones that trigger alerts upon entry or exit of friendly units. Proximity zones can also be attached to symbols, creating a radius around the selected symbol that generates alerts when entered. Additionally, pre-defined messages can be attached to these zones, automating communication during zone events.

The comprehensive base map included with each installation offers satellite imagery up to a scale of 1:70,000 and OpenStreetMap layers up to a scale of 1:2000. Additional mapping layers include OpenSeaMap Seamarks, GEBCO bathymetry data, and support for S-57 Electronic Navigation Charts (ENCs). The base map is tailored to the user’s desired region, with options to customise regions as needed.

Built on the reliable RapidM Communications Stack, TrackPoint provides secure digital voice and data communication through radios or devices equipped with RapidM modem technology. This integration allows operators to manage voice calls, view recent call lists, and receive missed call notifications. TrackPoint's intuitive interface is optimised for touch devices such as tablet PCs, featuring a large on-screen keypad and buttons for easy use. Access to TrackPoint is also controlled by an access code, ensuring that only authorised users can operate the software. For added security, all sensitive data can be securely erased using the zeroise function.
