Counterfeit Parts Avoidance Policy Statement

Rapid Mobile (Pty) Ltd (RapidM) designs, manufactures, integrates, and supports HF, VHF, and UHF radio communication equipment. RapidM is committed to delivering reliable, safe, and high-quality products that meet the requirements and expectations of our customers, employees, and partners. As part of this commitment, RapidM recognizes the risks associated with counterfeit, fraudulent, suspect, and non-conforming parts and materials and is committed to preventing such items from entering our products, systems, and supply chain.

Through the implementation of a Counterfeit Parts Avoidance Plan, RapidM aims to:

1. supply reliable and compliant products that exclude counterfeit or suspect counterfeit parts and minimize associated risks;
2. maximize the availability and use of authentic, conforming, and traceable parts;
3. procure parts and materials from approved, authorized, or otherwise verified and reliable sources;
4. ensure the authenticity, traceability, and conformity of procured parts through appropriate verification, inspection, and control processes;
5. identify, segregate, control, and prevent the unintended use or supply of suspect or confirmed counterfeit parts; and
6. report suspect or confirmed counterfeit parts, where appropriate, to customers, suppliers, relevant authorities, and other affected stakeholders to reduce further risk within the supply chain.
